Evaluation of Existing Pretreatment System for an Aerospace Manufacturer

Kelly-Buck conducted a process waste stream analysis to identify potential sources of elevated chromium and nickel in the pretreatment system effluent, and provided recommended process and pretreatment system action items to reduce future metal exceedances and optimize system performance. Project also included the development of a pretreatment system operations manual to document equipment calibration procedures, recommended system checks, and start-up/shut-down procedures.

Development of SWPPP & SPCC Plans for Research & Development Facility

Kelly-Buck conducted onsite review and data gathering in order to develop both a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and an oil Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan for a personal care product manufacturer's R&D facility. Assistance was also provided for plan implementation and ongoing compliance.

Title V Facility Air Services

Kelly-Buck has completed numerous air permit evaluations and source modifications for a northeast ohio manufacturing facility holding a Title V air permit. This work has included evaluation, preparation and submittal of various permit-to-install/operate (PTIO) applications for new equipment installations and process modifications at the site. This has involved coordination with the local air agency and state air agency, stack testing and annual emissions reporting.
